a little bit about me
My name is Sarah and I graduated last May from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. I officially finished with a degree in graphic design, but my love of everything creative isn’t contained in just the print world. While gaining a solid foundation of design principles in school, I was also able to experiment in the world of the book arts and letterpress.
Four months ago, I packed up my car and left my hometown of Omaha, Nebraska for an internship in Irvine, California. Yes, I drove 1600 miles to a place I had never been, all for a job I found on Twitter. The internship at Wiley Valentine started as a 6-week position, but they quickly asked me to stay on for five months. My responsibilities started with a lot of production work, but I’ve slowly been given more original design work, including a new collection of Ketubahs (Jewish marriage certificates). This has been quite the adventure and I can’t wait to see what the Lord has planned for me when it ends at the end of March.
